On July 26, 2018, Guangdong Group Exhibition Enterprise Chengdu Tianfu New District Cooperation Forum was held in No.9 Multi-Function Hall of Western China International Expo City. This forum was hosted by both Guangdong Fairs Organizers Association and Sichuan Tianfu International Exhibition Co., Ltd. 20 famous group exhibition enterprises in Guangdong were invited to attend the forum. Integrating superior resources of the two places, they discussed the integrative development of exhibition industry in South China and the central and western regions of China. It was suggested that regional synergetic development effect could be used to push forward the development of exhibition economy of Chengdu and Tianfu District and promote the exhibition invitation of Western China International Expo City. Liu Ying—the deputy director general of Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs and Ma Zelin—the deputy director general of Chengdu Bureau of Expo attended the forum.
